Early Dismissal Policy

We are experiencing difficulty and need to bring this to your attention.  Students who are leaving early MUST have a note from his/her parent with the parent's phone number on it. We will no longer be able to allow students to leave without having a note.  These notes should be turned in prior to the date of the early dismissal or that morning.  If this is not possible, the parent will need to pick up the student.

Please make sure that we have your correct phone numbers and that your student's emergency contact information is accurate and up to date. All early dismissals must now be in writing if you are unable to come in to sign out your student. We strive to ensure that your child's safety is never in jeopardy.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Evans, Principal, at 410-943-4511. Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.

Attendance Information

Parents, please make sure that we have the correct address and phone information for you. It is extremely important that we are able to contact you should the need arise. Daily attendance calls go out to the parents of those students who are absent. We need to be sure that our contact information is accurate.  If you have any contact information changes, please send them, in writing, to the main office.  The administration and school nurse also use this contact information so it is very important that our records are kept up to date. Thank you!  -Mrs. Moore, Attendance Secretary

Vacation Policy

All family activities (such as trips, vacations, etc.) require a prior written request to the principal.  If prior approval is not attained the absence will be noted as an unlawful absence.

Work missed during school-sanctioned family activities or lawful absences may be made up in accordance with Board of Education and school make-up policy.
